Did you know, that since the beginning of hybridizing Rhododendrons, there are already between, 20- to 25.000 named Rhododendron hybrids? Fortunately the present assortment of available hybrids is much smaller and better applicable to our climate. On this and following pages you will find a good assortment of rhododendrons in colours. |

If you want to plant always the same wellknown Rhododendrons, that we can find in so many gardens, we are ready soon. I would like to put you on the 'track' of more new hybrids, which are beautiful, healthy and strong even more than all those old ones. If you want the latest ones, you should become a member of the ARS and RHS. I could make now a division for size or time of flowering, but better for color, as you see. A half year long flowering Rhododendrons and Azaleas, is that possible? Yes, sure! In mild winter weather from February\March on we see the flowers of Christmas Cheer', 'Preacox' and some PJM hybrids, like 'P.J. Mezitt', 'April White, 'April Rose' ' and more And so it goes on till July, enjoying the fragrant flowers of R. occidentale till August with R. auriculatum. On the following pages I made selections for color and the species. Please, take note of the abbreviations below. With a 'thank you' to Mrs. Jana Dusatkova from Czech Republic for quite a few photographs! NEW: 22 albums of Rhododendron hybrids : (all taken in 2010 and in alphabetical order) Album
